Golden Dawn Gathers in Memory of Thermopylae - 2021

On Saturday the 4th of September The Peoples Nationalist Movement of Golden Dawn  as faithful guardians of the primordial ideals of the Tribe and as the sole honorer of the Immortal Heroic Fallen of our Nation, attended this year's Sacred Field of Thermopylae, holding a magnificent ceremony in Honor and Remembrance for the heroic warriors , who with their boldness and self-sacrifice against the multinational barbarian swarms of the Persian king bow  before the greatness of the Hellenic Martial Virtue.

Hundreds of Nationalists responded to the primordial ancestral call and found themselves with us, in the field sanctified by the blood of the brave warriors.
In a sacred mystagogy, under the shadow of the Statue of the Great Spartan King, they raised once again the Blue and White Symbol of the Nation and the Black and Red Banners of our Eternal Idea, which stood proudly to honor the bravest of the brave! The three hundred Spartans of King Leonidas and the seven hundred Thespians of Demophilus. These Great Dead, who wrote with Blood and Fire golden pages of glory, changing the course of history.

Once again at the front line, The Youth Front, the spearhead in the National Struggle. With fiery faith and unswerving devotion to the command of our glorious ancestors, we renewed the Oath in our Primordial Idea of eternal Faith and Uncompromising Struggle. An oath of Blood and Honor. We honor our heroic ancestors, but we never forget all the forms of "Efialtes" and "Non-Edians." The Youth of Golden Dawn, unlike those who bow their heads fatalistically, has learned to proceed forward on an uphill path, without taking a step back. Unrepentant for its Ideals and Values, with a fiery Faith that makes the cowards and those that bow to stand before it in shame , it only heads forward. With the blood of Immortal Heroes rolling hot in our veins, we've learned to always look the enemy in the face and fight. Trials are for those who dare , It is for us who have learned to defend our Honor to the very end.

The event was opened by the representative of the Youth Front, who stressed the discipline that governs the Nationalists of Golden Dawn even during these challenging times of imprisonment and persecution, times that have steeled us and will lead us to the Counterattack and victory!

The following speech was given by Comrade and Municipal Councilor of Athens Ourania Michaloliakou, who through the historical retrospection of the battle gave the feel of awe of the Ceremony and understanding that Thermopylae give birth to Plataea and that Golden Dawners are the only ones who could truly understand this!

Then the podium was taken by Comrade and representative of Northern Greece Christos Hadjisavvas, one of Golden Dawn who for decades has been fighting for our Movement and continues on the front line. The Comrade through his speech gave the signal of the continuation of the Struggle and faith in the unique Nationalist Movement that can unite the Nation and claim the Rights of our People!

Immediately afterwards, with lit Torches and the Sacred Symbol of Sparta illuminating our Way, the message of the Leader of Golden Dawn and political prisoner, Nikolaos Michaloliakos, was read. The words of our Leader, gave us impetus and warmed our Souls, spreading to all comrades strength and courage for the Struggle until the Freedom of Golden Dawn and the Victory of the Movement!

At the closing of the Ceremony , all together in a posture of attention, The Hellenic National Anthem followed by the Anthem of Golden Dawn was sung out loud with honor , with the voices being heard up to the heavens and echoing through the Sacred Battlefield!
