The message of Constantine Palaiologos:
No one has the right to surrender Greece to its enemies - All must join in the Struggle!

It was May 1453 the Green Flag of Islam was  waving outside the Kings walls , The Emperor Konstantinos Palaiologos Dragasis receives the ambassador of Muhammad II, who brings him an ultimatum. He demanded the surrender of the city with the promise to allow the Emperor and those who wished to leave to take with them their possessions and he would also recognize Constantine as the ruler of the Peloponnese.

The story was in full repetition, reminiscent of those summer days of 480 BC  when the envoys of the Persian Emperor issued an ultimatum to King Leonidas of Sparta, in exchange for giving it to Commander-in-Chief. Objectively speaking, Leonidas had no hope, defending the Thermopylae narrow with only a few brave men, compared to the Asian hordes that came before him.

Correspondingly, the situation on the siege of the city of Konstantinos was not better, since the start only the Janitsarie' army outperformed all of the defenders, including the raids that had rushed to the Emperor's side. The unprecedented for the time being, artillery of the Turks as well as their supremacy in naval forces made it clear that even time was an opponent of the defenders.

At the time of the re-enactment of the telegraph, Constantine Palaiologos was fully aware of the situation, his threat of almost certain death and the fact that the struggle of this and his co-operatives is in essence hopeless. Nevertheless, against every logic and instinct of self-preservation, he gave the answer that he made to the Pantheon of the Hellenic Heroes, along with Leonidas and millions of others.

"Those who live in these cities are the same as others who live in this community, and we are all ashamed of our lives."
"But to surrender thee the city, neither dwelleth in me, nor in any of its inhabitants; for by common decision we will all die willingly, and will not comprehend our life."

Today, in 2019, Greece is ahead of a new alliance. For years now, with the tolerance of the treacherous governments of PASOK and New Democracy, the cities of the country have been filled with millions of illegal immigrants. In fact, the aforementioned parties have taken great care, so as to criminalize even the opposite view of this policy. Syriza and Anel continue this policy with millions of illegal immigrants flooding the territory.

The Green Flag of Islam once again threatens our Homeland. It is not only in Thrace where Ankara's agents act uncontrollably, so far as to speak of a referendum. Now Turkey is openly raising the issue of Greek territory and its violations are numerous every day.

So, the message that goes through the centuries, Constantine Palaiologos, is very timely. The state does not belong, neither to Tsipras, nor to Samara, nor to Kammenos to deliver it to the conquerors. The responsibility for the delivery of the city does not belong to anyone. The only duty of Greek citizens and their respective governments is to give our children a better Homeland than they have received from their parents.

Unfortunately, the only political formation that has perceived the historical duty towards the eternal judges of everything, according to Kostis Palamas, is The Golden Dawn. True to the National Ideals we honor the memory of our ancestors and especially the heroic ridges such as Leonidas, Constantine Palaiologos, Kolokotronis and many others. We honor them essentially and not formally, perceiving that Value and Memory in the Nation's Heroes are essentially a vow to continue to be "brilliant forerunners".
