Bakogiannis walks out of a conference call with Elias Kasidiaris - Retreats from discussing about the hotspot in Vathi Square (Video)

As you will see in the video, at the start of the teleconference, the mayor of Athens also  nephew of the prime minister, Bakoyannis ... vanished when the Contestant and head of  Greek Dawn for Athens, Elias Kasidiaris, was connected with him and had good reasons to do so...

A great success of the Hellenic people fighting against the illegal settlements in our homeland occurred at the last municipal council of Athens (held via teleconference on 13/4/20).

Elias Kasidiaris demanded an explicit commitment by Bakoyannis , that the hotspot that for months now have been setting up in Vathi Square will NOT function as a reception center for foreigners. We will not allow the authority to exploit the health crisis and further continue its illegal plans against the Hellenic people be put into practice.

Mayor Bakogiannis once again got up and walked out during Elias Kasidiaris placement .
He even hid on the conference call! In the end, however, following intense pressure from  "Greek Dawn for Athens" and the Hellenic residents of the region, Bakogiannis took back the illegal hotspot!

He said publicly that the 4,000 sq m building at the junction of Acharnes and Liosion streets would not be used as a reception centre for foreigners (hot spot)- as originally planned - but as a homeless shelter.

Of course, nothing ends with this statement. We will continue to monitor the case closely, to press the authority (government and municipal authority) and to uncover all its anthemic offshoots (NGOs).
