Skopje Playing The Hellenic Politicians For Fools: Not Even Pretending To Abide By The Treasonous Prespa Agreement .

The clear winners to emerge out of the “negotiations” and of the Prespa Agreement – the history forging Skopjians- are not even bothering to adhere to the charade. Not content with plundering the holy name of Macedonia, they’re openly using ancient Greek symbols, demonstrating that they were the real winners in the so-called “successful agreement”.

It was announced that the Hellenic Foreign Ministry had expressed its displeasure at the continuous use of symbols such as the Sun of Vergina but also the term “Macedonian” to describe various Skopje commercial products. The depth of this displeasure at the “forgetfulness” of the Skopje was expressed with two formal diplomatic protests within the first half of September, according to Real News.

A high ranking government official clarified that from the moment that the agreement was approved by the two parliaments, the problem hasn’t been the implementation but the inability of this particular Agreement to be implemented. Eight months after the vote on the Agreement, the Skopje authorities not only haven’t proceeded to the timely implementation of the decrees but they haven’t yet given clear advice as to the time frame and to the actions that they will take resulting in the Hellenic side being unsure of what its waiting for.

According to the report, at the beginning of September the consul Dimitrios Giannakakis, head of the Hellenic representation in Skopje, met with the Skopje Foreign Minister, Nikola Dimitrov, informing him of the deep concern in Athens. On 13/9/19 there was a second meeting of Mr Giannakakis with high ranking members of the Foreign Ministry of Skopje. The Hellenic side presented a series of concerns, emphasising the importance of the dire necessity for Skopje to demonstrate an urgent sense of headway in the implementation of the Prespa Agreement before the European Council meeting of October, where it’s expected that there’ll be discussions on issues of inclusion.

Athens has warned that there is a critical need for immediate action as per Article 8.2 ( the emphasis of the Hellenic character of the Ancient Macedonians) and 8.3 (removal of the Sun of Vergina ) of the Agreement and not only hollow gestures at the last minute in October.

Skopje excuses

Furthermore it was emphasised that Hellas places great importance on the removal of the irredentist and revisionist material from Skopje history curriculum but also that it had expected that during September, actions to implement the Agreement however there was no progress. The excuses supplied by Skopje didn’t engender optimism on the Hellenic side. Skopian leaders didn’t deny the delays however they blamed it on the procrastinating nature of the Balkans and in the inexcusable belief that from some that the implementation of the measures should occur after the passage of six months.

It is especially noteworthy on the Hellenic side, the lack of will displayed on behalf of a faction of the ruling party, that is questioning why it has to bear the political cost of the Agreement when it hasn’t yet been confirmed that the EU will give a date for the beginning of accession negotiations.

The Fake Greeks Beg

The Hellenic side has already noted specific monuments in the city of Skopje but also other examples that constitute violations. Some of these are:

-       The statues of the eight Ancient Macedonian Kings on the Bridge of Culture in the centre of Skopje City

-       The monument of Lydia the Phillipisian

-       The monument for child refugees in the square opposite the parliament ,
The Hellenic side reminded the Skopians that in 2016 the sign of the Vergina Sun was placed there with the unacceptable reference to ‘a genocide of the Macedonians’ in Ellas

-       The Vergina Sun on a main road of Skopje. The other side claim that it is located on private property

-       A giant sign on  a building reading “Archaeological Museum of Macedonia”

Furthermore in the diplomatic protest of the Hellenic side it was noted that in the last few months, there have been problems created on the International stage where the neighbouring country has referred to itself as “Macedonia” in its signage or in documents. Then there were also the instances at international sporting events where the Skopje team uniforms clearly bore the name “Macedonia”.

Continue to write diplomatic protests, fake Greeks. The Bolsheviks signed it, the neo-liberals are implementing it and now both are crying over spilt milk. There’s only one solution: The immediate termination of the traitorous Prespa Agreement! A resounding action, that only Golden Dawn proclaims!
