Earlier this week, Cyprus’s ELAM successfully launched their food
drive to assist struggling Greeks who have been hit by the country’s
economic problems.
Patriots took to the city of Paphos, in solidarity with young
families and the elderly, in order to provide food, basic supplies &
school supplies, as well as toys for children. Children’s school bags
and other supplies where branded in patriotic slogans, reminding the
Greeks of the brutal invasion which took place in 1974, as well as the
hypocrisy of the ‘Greek-Turkish friendship’ agreements which are taking
place over the last 40 years.
The Nationalists where well received, and demonstrated how the will
of Greeks is greater than the corrupt establishment which is unable to
provide all the necessary resources to assist the country’s most
vulnerable citizens.
The motto of the food drive was ‘The money of the people belongs back to the people’, honouring ELAM’s electoral pledge to use all funds from parliamentary funds to feed back into charity funds, and assist all suffering Greeks in needs.
